How to Customize Required Immunizations

Learn how to manage immunization records in Kindertales. Activate, edit, or remove default immunizations, and add custom records for efficient childcare management.

Activating the List of Defaulted Immunizations Found in Kindertales

  1. Click Settings in the top right-hand corner.
  2. Select the Forms tab.
  3. Click the Immunization tab.
  4. Kindertales include a variety of commonly required immunizations.  To access these immunizations, click the Insert CDC Defaults button.
  5. If you would like Kindertales to actively track an immunization, click the Enabled checkbox beside it.

Editing the List of Defaulted Immunizations Found in Kindertales

  1. Click on the immunization you would like to edit from the list
  2. Click the pencil on the line you would like to edit
  3. You are able to edit the name of an immunization
    • You are able to edit the dose due date
    • You are able to delete a dose due date
    • You are able to add a dose due date by clicking the Add Dose button and filling in the required information
  4. Click Save

Removing an Immunization From the Defaulted List Found in Kindertales

  1. Click on the immunization you would like to delete
  2. Click the Delete button
  3. Click Save

Adding a Custom Immunization

  1. Click the Add New button
  2. Fill out the required fields
  3. Click Save
