How to Record Developmental Milestones

This guide will show you how to record a Milestone entry for a child in the Kindertales for Classroom App

You can now record milestones starting from either the Milestones page or the Classroom page in the Kindertales Classroom App. This article will review both methods.

Recording a Milestone from the Classroom Page

1. From the Classroom screen select the child(ren) for whom you wish to record a Milestone
2. Tap on the Action Menu
3. Select Milestones
4. Select the Milestone Group you wish to record an entry for
5. Browse the available Milestones Categories in the group and select which one you wish to record an entry for
6. Select the specific Milestone you wish to record and Complete the Form. Select if the Milestone has been Achieved or Attempted. You can record as many Attempts at a Milestone as you wish. You may also include a Photo and an Internal Note.

Recording a Milestone from the Milestones Page

1. Tap the Main Menu and tap Milestones
2. Select the Milestone Group you wish to record an entry for
3. Browse the available Milestones Categories in the group and select which one you wish to record an entry for
4. Tap Record Entry
5. Select the child(ren) for whom you wish to record the Milestone(s)
6. Tap on the Blue Arrow
7. Select Milestones
8. Complete the Form. Select if the Milestone has been Achieved or Attempted. You can record as many Attempts at a Milestone as you wish. You may also include a Photo and an Internal Note
